On-site

From August 25 to 26, 2011, 20 students will have the opportunity to meet Bertelsmann China's top executives in "Talent Meets Bertelsmann" China Workshop in our China Corporate Center Office in Beijing, in parallel with the other one targeting German students in Berlin in July.

On the first day, Annabelle Long, Chief Executive of Bertelsmann China Corporate Center will greet all participants, introducing Bertelsmann history, culture and businesses. In the afternoon, the participants will be divided into five groups. Each group will get a different task to develop a future business model for different business sectors evolving in the future Media and Service sector. The group work will be facilitated by a group of business managers and investment consultants. In the evening there will be a casual dinner party, and all the participants as well as Bertelsmann managers and some alumni from last year’s TMB workshop will mingle together and have fun.

The second day is the workshop presentation day: every group presents their proposal to the Jury consisting of senior executives of Bertelsmann companies in China. As wrap-up, participants will get individual feedback about their performance during the two days, and suggestions for their further career development from Bertelsmann HR managers.
